Part two of this session makes me squeal with delight, honestly! So many times while shooting I would sing because I would get 'the shot' and end up doing a little happy dance. It would make the girls giggle cause there I would be singing and dancing while they stood in fun costumes. The light during this session was to die for as well, simply delish!

Shavasana // Corpse pose - my favourite.
Having practiced yoga off and on for the past 4 years, I love walking into a yoga studio and placing my mat down on the hardwood floor to start working on my breathing. I am a shallow breather to begin with, so when I have to take long deep breaths for yoga, breathing is an extra challenge for me. But I enjoy it, I feel my body getting the oxygen it needs, I feel it feeding life into me.
90 minutes of stretching and sweating and I can feel my body getting stronger and healthier. I've been practicing again for about a month now, and I can already do push-ups which I originally couldn't do, stretch further, touch the floor with my hands, and thankfully breath easier! Yoga is my 'me' time. I do this for myself to help me concentrate, to release any tension, to work my body, and to meditate. It's a blissful 90 minutes.
If you're looking for a yoga studio, come meet me at Yoga for the People. It's a beautiful studio located close to Gastown, but its a by donation studio. I love it!

I'm so excited to feature these photos, like over the moon excited! When I first started to decide which ones I wanted to post I had over 100 and I knew that would be too much so I had to shorten the list and believe me it was hard to do!
I wanted to photograph a stylized shoot and knew what I wanted it to look like but didn't know anyone who would fit the look I was going for. Thankfully my friend Erin did and we found our three models, who were just perfect! The girls were awesome, no FABULOUS to work with and I'm loving these. Seriously like they warm my insides! The concept was three girls out on a sunny day enjoying life and just hanging out in a forest. They decide to rest and take a nap and then dream playing dress up playing in the sun and being princesses. Ohhhh, it gets me excited just writing it out.
We did everything out in Derby Reach again, I'm in love with this location! Enjoy the images!

I've sat here, I swear for over an hour, trying to come up with the right words to describe this session...and I can't. Miss L, was just so simply amazing and lovely and with so much energy. I can't even start to write about it, thats how powerful it was.

After Mrs e and I finished up at Derby Reach, we stopped in at Tracey Cakes to pick up some delish cupcakes, because she wanted to include her favourite thing next to her husband and daughter into her shoot, yes cupcakes! You'll notice right away the difference in her as soon as she gets a cupcake in her hand, smiles all around!
Her and I share a luve of reading, so I mentioned that she should bring her favourite book to the shoot as well, and oh gosh I luuuve the images of her reading...just simply stunning!
Boudoir shoots are about you, what makes you smile, feel sexy, and comfortable and I encourage everyone to incorporate that into their time with me.
Once again, enjoy the images of Mrs e enjoying her cupcake and reading Anne of Green Gables!
